Advance Commission Policy


We offer UP TO 9 months advanced commissions on most carriers for Life and Final Expense products based on the following:
1. All NEW agents to NALS will be offered 6 months advanced commissions to start and can be raised to a 9 months advanced after 5 issued and paid Life policies.
2. Any NEW agents to NALS that provides proof of last 12 months of paid-for life premium of at least $10,000 with a persistency ratio of at least 70% will be offered 9 months advanced commissions to start instead of 6 months.
3. Any agents with bankruptcies in the past three years, current major credit issues or any outstanding agent debt with other carriers will not qualify for our advanced commission program. Agents will be placed at as-earned commissions only to start and can be raised to a 6 or 9 months advanced after 90 days based on production and quality of business with us.

Override commissions for our agencies with a down line of agents

 Override commissions vary depending on carrier, product, client age and type of support level you are requesting. Overrides on average run from 5%-20% of the Annualized life premium and .25%-1.50% of the annuity premium. For carriers we can approve you with for above street levels we do, for the ones we cannot, we pay you the override on your agents directly from NALS on a monthly basis. Many carriers do NOT offer above street level contracts without proof of a LARGE hierarchy or LARGE production. That is why we have to pay you the override directly for your agents. WE DO NOT PAY YOU OVERRIDES ON YOUR PERSONAL PRODUCTION FOR CARRIERS THAT YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR ABOVE STREET.
